MURROW CENTER FOR STUDENT SUCCESS

A dynamic learning environment that supports student success
Invest in our students

CAREER READY,
GLOBAL CITIZEN READY

The Murrow Center for Student Success provides a dynamic learning environment that supports student success across all Murrow campuses.

We provide students with academic guidance, internship opportunities, and engagement with industry professionals to help them become Career and Global Citizen Ready. Individualized academic advising brings together the academic requirements for a WSU degree with the Career Readiness program to propel a student forward after WSU, in the launch of their professional career or continued academic pursuits. Additionally, real-world experiences play a critical role in the Career Readiness program and includes opportunities such as serving in Student Clubs and Organizations, Internships, and experiential learning that goes beyond the classroom.

OUR LOCATION

Murrow Center for Student Success SchematicThe Murrow Center for Student Success will be moving into our flagship building, Goertzen Hall.

Named after our esteemed alumnae, Kathy Goertzen, Goertzen Hall welcomes prospective students and is home for current Murrow students to engage in coursework, enjoy collaborative study spaces, and use our state-of-the-art research labs.

Relocation of the Murrow Center for Student Success allows for the expansion of current and emerging programs, as well as the engagement of alumni and industry professionals, in service of reaching a growing community of Murrow students. Further, the addition of enhanced technology will allow students across all Murrow campuses to participate in programs and learning opportunities with alumni and industry professionals located around the world.
