Keith & Turi Ann Jackson Graduate Fellowships

Established by Keith M. Jackson, a Class of 1954 graduate in communications, and Turi Ann Jackson, a member of the Class of 1952, these graduate fellowships were established to supplement our regular graduate student support. Fellowships are awarded to residential M.A. and Ph.D. students, encouraging the exploration of new technologies and production or management practices that serve to promote a vital and ethical communications profession and industry.

Fellowship Details:

  • $8,000 each Ph.D. award to be used over four years for research, travel to academic conferences, and other academic program costs not covered by graduate assistantships; $4,000 each M.A. award over two years with an additional $4,000 over 2 years if accepted to the Ph.D. program.
  • Up to eight awards to outstanding graduate program applicants particularly those exploring new technologies and production or management practices that serve to promote a vital and ethical communication profession and industry.
  • The Jackson Fellowships supplement regular graduate assistant support.

All applicants to the residential graduate programs at the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication are considered for the Jackson Fellowship.
