I’m Kevin Macaraeg, and I graduated in 2019 with a major in strategic communications with an emphasis in advertising and a minor in Japanese language. While at Washington State University, I spent time with the Student Entertainment Board’s marketing committee, volunteered at International Programs as a peer mentor to foreign exchange students, and played too much racquetball at the rec center. Taking advantage of the Murrow Symposium, I was able to network and land a job after graduating. During the past couple of years, I have been helping develop the marketing department from the ground up at Icom America. I have a hand in emails, digital marketing campaigns, social media, content creation, and more. In my free time, I’m all about collecting Pokémon cards. I attend card shows, make vlogs, and visit Pokémon card vending machines throughout Washington state.
