Loree Wagner majored in Broadcasting at WSU and spent 15 years in broadcast news management, starting as an on air reporter and working her way up to become the Managing Editor at KOMO TV (ABC) in Seattle, Washington before turning her skills to corporate communications.
She was the Marketing Director for Consolidated Restaurants (The Metropolitan Grill, Elliott’s Oyster House, and others) before starting Loree Wagner Communications in 1997. Since that time, Wagner has worked primarily for Seattle based R.D. Merrill Company. This private family company owns Merrill Gardens, a respected national leader in the senior housing industry and Pillar Properties, a multifamily developer of luxury apartments with 1,600 units in Seattle’s signature neighborhoods.
For the past fourteen years, Loree Wagner Communications has been the public relations firm of record for both companies.
Wagner has been a member of Murrow College Professional Advisory Board since 1994 and currently heads the Murrow Young Professionals group.
