Criteria
One or more scholarships will be awarded to WSU students according to the following criteria.
- Students certified in Communication
- Students in good academic standing
- Students with demonstrated financial need
- Preference may be given to students who are involved in extracurricular activities (e.g., student clubs) relating to broadcasting
History
This fund was originally established in 1983 by the board of the Washington State Association of Broadcasters in memory of deceased broadcasters who have contributed significantly to their profession in the state of Washington.
The WSAB board of directors will determine annually the amount of money allocated for scholarships, the number of scholarships to be awarded, and the amount of the individual scholarships.
