Criteria
Students are selected for this award on the basis of outstanding performance in and service to the broadcasting program, with special consideration of those who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to “getting the job done.” Financial need may also be a consideration. Information about the top applicants for this award will be shared with the donors, Ron and Louise Carter.
History
This fund was established by Ron and Louise Carter. Ron is a Class of 1966 graduate of Washington State University in the Edward R. Murrow [School] of Communication and serves as a member of the WSU Foundation Board of Trustees. Their daughter Jennifer is 1995 graduate of Murrow.
