As the Director of Student Services, I oversee the daily programming and advising for our undergraduate program. I work with a great team of advisors and our front office staff.

As a team, we provide academic and career advising to over 1200 students. In addition, we work with the Dean and faculty to coordinate the Murrow course schedule.  We offer pre-college advising and Murrow tours to prospective students and their families. Student Services also coordinates the annual Murrow Symposium, Murrow Mentors and helps students with finding internships and jobs after they graduate.  We also help coordinate the annual scholarship application and awarding process.

The faculty in The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication are the best in their fields, and we also enjoy helping to support the work they do in teaching and research.I have been with Murrow since September of 2014.

Prior to that, I was an academic advisor in The Carson College of Business. I have also worked at the University of Idaho and Iowa State University. My passion is helping students be successful in college while finding their own passion.

As an advocate for emotional well-being and programming on campus that will reduce the stigma of mental health concerns, I work to ensure that our students know that they are part of a community that is here to offer support and referrals to appropriate campus resources.
