Biography

Biography

Over her 14+ years at WSU, Molly Schotzko has developed and run successful marketing and communications campaigns and strategies for an array of audiences, giving her firsthand experience and knowledge to pass on to future generations. Whether she had been helping donors realize philanthropic purpose through award-winning campaigns, recruiting future Cougs, or creating strategies and stories to promote an agricultural commodity internationally, Molly finds joy in the challenge of communicating a message to serve the greater good. Now she will further share her energy, optimism, and passion for WSU with Murrow students, continuing to guide them in developing successful careers while leading a healthier, more active lifestyle.

Molly is a proud alumna of the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication (B.A. emphasis public relations, 2005), and the College of Education (M.A. Education, emphasis sport management, 2008).

In addition to her remarkable career, Molly earned academic honors while also being a four-time letter winner in cross country and track and field, and former Student-Athlete Advisory Committee President. She still enjoys staying active by running with friends or taking evening walks. She’s an Ironman triathlete who loves a good backyard barbecue and values time with family and friends. Molly and her husband Tim are dedicated parents to their daughter Hudson, who brings joys (and challenges) of her own.
