Maddie Freiberg currently works on the customer success team at a Seattle-area startup, Esper, where she manages the success of enterprise level customer accounts. Her career started in marketing and communications in several in-house roles. She then expanded her experience to the agency side which led to opportunities in consulting. Freiberg also has experience in sales and sales enablement which led to customer success as a perfect blend of marketing, communications, sales, and relationship management.

Freiberg graduated from Washington State University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication. While at WSU, Freiberg was actively involved in her sorority, Kappa Delta, in addition to serving as Director of Marketing for the 2008-2009 ASWSU executive branch term. She is the Founding Chair of the Murrow Young Professionals, a group formed to help bridge the gap between graduation and reaching senior level status as a communications professional. Murrow Young Professionals focuses on mentoring and helping recent grads find meaningful work in the wide options available within communications.

Freiberg later completed continuing education in Project Management from the University of Washington, in addition to a master’s degree in Communication Management from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Despite these other Pac-12 affiliations, her heart and allegiance are forever first in Pullman. She also enjoys using her Mug Club mug at The Coug whenever she’s in town.
