Jeremy Watson joined the Murrow team in April 2020 as an Academic Advisor for both graduate and undergraduate studies. A career Sailor, he previously had the opportunity to serve as a Naval Science Instructor and Academic Advisor at North Carolina State University which sparked a deep passion for advising and mentoring at the collegiate level. Having recently retired from a nearly 22-year career, where he served as both Enlisted Aircrew and Naval Flight Officer aboard reconnaissance aircraft, he is excited to return to the academic arena where he can continue to mentor and develop future leaders in society.
Following retirement Jeremy and his wife, Andrea, along with their two children, spent a year traveling the country in their RV before returning to the Palouse to start their next chapter. When not working with students he enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors with family, camping, hiking, fishing, and attending concerts and sporting events.
