Experiential Learning

The Murrow College provides hands-on learning that helps apply your knowledge to real-world situations in local, national, and global programs. Whether you want to join our television club, hone your play-by-play broadcasting skills, work with advertising clients, or explore the world, we are dedicated to providing you with an education that informs and inspires you. At Murrow, your education extends from the classroom to the world.

Students can participate in our international backpack journalism or study abroad programs, work with real clients in our in-house advertising firm, compete in national public relations competitions, or join the staff of one of our radio or television properties. Internships, mentorships, and student opportunities to participate in funded research projects keep students’ fingers on the pulse of the communications industry.
