Ben Wineman is an evening anchor for ABC FOX Montana news in Missoula, Montana. He graduated from the Edward R. Murrow School of Journalism at Washington State University in 2016 with honors. He started his career in Missoula as a sports anchor, and for almost three years, covered the Montana Grizzlies, Montana State Bobcats, local high school sports, and minor league baseball. In November of 2018, he transitioned to the “news” side of journalism, becoming the station’s new evening anchor.
Ben wants to be a Murrow mentor because he would not of gained the confidence without his own experience in the program as a student. He is excited to give back to the younger generations of Cougs coming up through Murrow, and is excited to help students realize their dreams of being a broadcast journalist in news or sports.\
