Steven is a first-generation WSU Alumni and communications professional working in the Seattle-Tacoma area with more than five years of combined experience in communications, social media, branding, PR, digital media, and marketing.
Steven’s career path is far from traditional, which he hopes will inspire others to remain focused on their goals and take any opportunity that presents itself. After spending most of the COVID-19 pandemic working in healthcare communications for a hospitalist organization, Steven realized the importance of communicating public information. In 2021, Steven began working for Tacoma Public Utilities, managing social media and collaborating with the public affairs team to support, develop and produce customer-facing materials.
As the world begins to discover what’s next after the pandemic, Steven hopes to give back more and associate himself with those passionate about making a positive impression on society. He enjoys sports, camping, hiking, and visiting with friends and family at local breweries.
