As a globally recognized entertainment, services and technology executive, Robert has driven record-breaking growth and profitability for game-changing companies such as Microsoft, Nintendo and Disney.

Robert recently retired from Microsoft, where he served as Chief Brand Officer of Xbox and Global Vice President of Integrated Marketing for the company’s $12B+ gaming division. Prior to Microsoft, Robert was head of consumer marketing at Nintendo for more than eight years, led marketing and corporate communications for Ticketmaster and began his career in feature film marketing with Walt Disney Studios.

Specializing in brand, business model and industry transformation with a focus on youth and pop-culture, Robert has built some of the most iconic and beloved brands and entertainment franchises in the world, including Xbox, Nintendo, Minecraft, Pokémon, Mario, Zelda, Halo, Microsoft Surface, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance and nearly 400 others.

Robert is a storyteller – inspiring large global teams and unlocking the highest levels of creativity and ingenuity. As a result, he and his teams are among the most decorated marketers in the world with 50+ Cannes Lions (including Grand Prix), more than 1,000 top creative and marketing awards and the highest global honors, including numerous advertiser and marketer of the year awards and the coveted Cannes Creative Marketer of the Year.

As a Murrow graduate himself and the father of a current Baylor Bear, Robert enjoys investing his time and energy in helping future leaders. Robert currently serves on several boards, advises corporate CEOs and shares his experience with students who are seeking a career in Marketing.
