Advertising Agency leader focused on Media & Communications Strategy.

Since graduating from the Edward R. Murrow School of Communications, Jason has helped shape integrated Media and Communication strategy for over twenty brands at creative agencies up and down the West Coast. During this time, he has focused on intense integration with Creative and Strategy teams, helping guide them through the evolving digital landscape to create breakout campaigns for brands such as Coca-Cola, KFC, Mini Cooper, League of Legends, and Old Spice.

Beginning his career at Seattle-based agency Cole & Weber, he found himself at the crossroads of the digital and social advertising evolution, from the launch of Facebook’s ad marketplace to the birth of programmatic display and video. The foundational knowledge gained at WSU helped him navigate this evolving landscape, eventually leading digital media transformations for brands such as Washington’s Lottery and TreeTop Apple Juice. Following his time in Seattle, he moved to San Francisco-based agency Butler Shine, Stern & Partners to lead digital media efforts for Mini Cooper and Blue Shield of California.

Currently, Jason leads the Communications Planning practice at Portland-based agency Wieden & Kennedy, where he has worked since 2015. Since joining W+K, he has worked on numerous breakthrough campaigns, including three Super Bowl efforts for Coca-Cola, the launch of the Cannes Award-winning film “The Myth,” and the 2017 AdWeek Media Plan of the Year for Chiquita Bananas. In his current role, he focuses on applying his approach to media and creative integration, along with his deep knowledge of the digital media landscape, to fuel growth for the agency’s North America client base.
