Biography
CJ S. Janssen is an M.A. student at the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in anthropology from Montana State University in the spring of 2020. CJ is curious about how audiences perceive creative media and how those perceptions inform individual’s understanding and further building of their identities. Currently an instructor of COM 102: Public Speaking in the Digital Age, CJ has prior teaching experience in the wonderful world of public education at the middle school level, where he taught 7th grade special education. With passions for media and creative expression, CJ has worked in television production for five years at Montana PBS as the Assistant Director of the Emmy-award winning music showcase television series 11th & Grant with Eric Funk. In his free time, CJ loves to play guitar, drink coffee, and take in the arts.
