Emmy-winning newsroom manager with 20 years of newsroom experience, including more than a decade in Los Angeles with the Walt Disney Company at KABC-TV. A 2004 Murrow grad, my WSU education and hands-on experience with Cable 8 helped build a foundation that led to jobs in Spokane, Portland, Seattle, and my current role as Assistant News Director here in Southern California. During my time at ABC7, I have helped lead and evolve one of the top local news stations in the country through a pandemic, social unrest, multiple elections, devastating wildfires, audience fragmentation and distrust, and much more. I am passionate about the vital and unique role local news plays in keeping our communities informed, and am driven to create the future of this industry.
Born and raised in Whatcom County, I live in Burbank with my wife and two sons.
