Adam Peterson is a Director of Supply Operations with Microsoft’s Azure supply chain. He brings improvements and supply chain innovations that enhance the processes, systems, and strategies for the hardware supply chain.

Through his career to date, Adam brings an enthusiasm for shaping company strategies through critical assessment and solid data. He often blends analytics and insights together to paint a vivid picture of the future of company operations and performance.

Prior to working at Microsoft, Adam worked in consulting as a Sr Principal in Supply Chain and Manufacturing Strategy for Accenture, where he worked with executives and clients to develop operations strategy. His focus was on creating new supply chain capabilities and manufacturing improvements through development, planning, and analytics.

Adam worked for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as an Analyst in the Supply Chain Integration group on the F35 fighter aircraft program. He started his career working as a Procurement Analyst for Igus, GmbH in Cologne, Germany, and a Graduate Assistant at TCU’s Center for Supply Chain Innovation.

Adam graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, followed by a Master of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from Texas Christian University.
