A minor in communication complements many major areas of study by focusing on communication processes. The minor in communication allows students to select from a variety of course subjects, such as intercultural communication, public speaking, youth and the media, and sports and the media. This minor aims to enhance students’ personal and professional communication skills.
Completion of 18 credits from any COM, COMJOUR, or COMSTRAT courses. Nine credits must come from upper-level coursework. 15 credits must be earned through WSU courses. COM 138, 199, and 399 are excluded from applying toward the minor requirements.
