Josh Munson is the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator at The Memorial Foundation, which is the fundraising partner for Virginia Mason Memorial hospital in Yakima, WA. He has been with the Foundation for nearly 3 years. Josh is passionate about mission-based work and has dedicated his professional career to raising funds and awareness for four health-care initiatives: children’s health, Healthy Yakima, cancer care, and end-of-life care. He also serves as the director of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® program at Virginia Mason Memorial, where he focuses on building and maintaining local and national partnerships for children across Central Washington with special health-care needs.

Josh is a third-generation Coug, graduating from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University with degrees in strategic communication and political science. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Communication and Leadership through Gonzaga University.

Josh believes strongly in giving back to his community and accomplishes this through his involvement with Rotary. He serves as the current president of Yakima Rotaract, which is the young professionals’ sub-division of Rotary. He is also the youngest member appointed to the Selah Downtown Association Board of Directors, where he works to revitalize the downtown business district as the community’s social, cultural and economic center. Outside of work and his community involvement, Josh lives to travel, never misses a Cougar football game, and likes to golf.
