Sarah Reyes grew up just down the road in Spokane, Washington. She attended Washington State University and is a proud graduate of the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication, where she received her B.A. in Communication with an emphasis in public relations. After finishing up at WSU, she joined the Spokane Chiefs Hockey Club as a marketing and communications intern, and continued her time helping with postseason sponsorship wrap-ups.

Thanks to the help of Dr. Bruce Pinkleton, one of Sarah’s professors during her undergrad, she heard about a temporary communications opportunity with the City of Everett. Three years later, she continues to work for the City as a communications officer in the mayor’s office. Much of her job entails managing social media, coordinating local and national media, public information officer duties, and helping the City address many of the street-level social issues happening in Everett. Sarah continues to be a diehard Coug and tries to make it to as many Cougar football games as possible.
