Ben, a 2014 Murrow grad, is currently the Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter at KLRT, the Fox affiliate in Little Rock, Arkansas. During his time in the Natural State, he has covered big events such as the Arkansas Razorback Baseball team making it to the College World Series, Jerry Jones’ induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Memphis Grizzlies playing in the NBA Playoffs and Arkansas Basketball reaching the NCAA Tournament. He also hosts the station’s weekly half-hour sports wrap-up show as well as “Silver Star Nation” where he and guests breakdown Dallas Cowboy games and news. He has also produced a documentary series highlighting a local high school football program’s rebuild. Ben is also a Play-By-Play Broadcaster for ESPN+, calling Sun Belt Conference Men’s Basketball games throughout the 2019 conference season. He has also done TV play-by-play for the Arkansas High School Basketball State Championship games. Prior to his arrival to Arkansas, Ben was a Sports Anchor/Reporter at KEZI, the ABC affiliate in Eugene, Oregon as well as a Play-By-Play Broadcaster for the West Coast Conference Network and University of Portland Basketball. While attending WSU, he was the Sports Director at KUGR Radio and participated in Murrow News 8. He was also a proud member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity.
