Marcia Steele Hoover, NIKE’s Global Marketing Communication Director shares her story and explains how attitude can make or break your crazy dream.

Leading women in the world of communication talk about the state of gender diversity in leadership roles today, the obstacles women face that are keeping them from advancing to top-level positions, and what the landscape for women in the communication industry looks like in the future.

Making the move into the marketplace after graduation can be an exciting and uncertain time for many students. In this session, former Murrow – Everett students return to campus to share their post-graduation experiences of and advice for navigating the path from campus to career.

Hosted by WSU PRSSA

Although many public relations professionals work at large agencies or on the client-side for large corporations, other exciting paths exist for communication grads. Come hear a range of experienced professionals discuss the possibilities and offer advice about the background and skills needed for these “roads less traveled” in public relations and related fields.
