The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication offers several internship opportunities in the Communication & Society sequence, including opportunities in both Organizational Communication and Intercultural Communication.

PREREQUISITES AND APPLICATION PROCESS

Applicants need to be certified communication majors with at least a 2.7 GPA in communication. Other course specifications are listed as follows:

Communication & Society

COMSOC (COMST) 495 is a course designed to provide credit to students who wish to complete an internship in areas that are related to Communication Studies including Applied Intercultural Communication and Organizational Communication. Most students do internships at the conclusion of their junior year or during their senior year. Students must do the internship during the semester that they are registered for in order to receive COMSOC (COMST) 495 credit.
