Chad Sokol is a reporter for The Spokesman-Review in Spokane, Washington, covering a range of local and regional issues, including police, correctional facilities, government, politics, courts, agriculture, higher education and far-right extremism. A California native, he is a 2016 graduate of Washington State University’s Edward R. Murrow College of Communication and sits on the board of the Washington Coalition for Open Government.
