FALL SEMESTER

SEPTEMBER

Student Involvement Street Fair | September 11, 11am-2pm | Glenn Terrell Mall
A large street fair for students to learn about engaging in student-led activities and joining Registered Student Organizations (RSO’s) on the Pullman campus.

Honoring Indigenous Womxn | September 16-20, Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center
Events celebrating indigenous womxn and their cultures. Hosted by the Women’s Center, the Native American Student Center, and the Coalition for Women Students. The ‘keynote’ is scheduled for Sept. 18 and will be poet Terisa Siagatonu.

OCTOBER

SHAPING Conference | October 11-13
A leadership conference that encourages junior and senior high school students of Asian-American/Pacific Islander descent to pursue higher education. Current WSU students plan, manage and lead the conference.

WSU Homecoming | October 18-19

InQueery Symposium | October 21, 4:00 PM-8:30 PM, Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center
An annual event that brings together scholars, students, and WSU community members to envision the future of queer theory and politics. The symposium features a national speaker and student presentations related to the LGBTQ+ community. Hosted by GIESORC, Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies and the Women*s Center.

A week of celebration of the Latinx heritage and culture is put on by the various student organizations as the Chicanx Latinx Student Alliance.

CASHE Conference | November 8-10
ASWSU will welcome 200 students to Pullman for the Children of Aztlan Sharing Higher Education (CASHE) Conference. High school students of Chicana(o)/Latina(o) descent throughout the state of Washington will gain leadership skills, build meaningful relationships with other students from across the state and get prepared for college. Current WSU students plan, manage, and lead the conference.

Celebrating Men’s Health Month – Movember | University Recreation & Cougar Health Services
Movember is a charity that tackles men’s health on a global scale, addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men; prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. Support the Movember movement at campus events held throughout the month of November.
