Hi everyone! My name is Selena Alvarado and I am a 2015 Washington State University alumna. I studied Journalism and Media Production with an emphasis in Broadcast News. I began my broadcasting career in San Luis Obispo, CA as a news producer for a year and a half. After that, I moved to San Diego, CA where I worked as a producer at two separate stations, KUSI and NBC San Diego. After nearly five years in broadcast, I took a job in corporate communications and now work as an Internal Communications Specialist at Lakeshore Learning Materials in the Los Angeles area. I love working in the communications field and can’t wait to share the knowledge I’ve learned with a fellow Coug!
