Rod Brooks is the Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for PEMCO Insurance Company, where he serves as the Executive committee member responsible for oversight and direction of corporate marketing, advertising, communications, and brand management.
A 1975 graduate of the Murrow School of Communication at WSU, Brooks has proven to be a versatile and results-driven executive with 40 years of sales, marketing, and business development experience. His background includes executive management positions for high volume, market leading, regional and national retail organizations, an entrepreneur led start-up and a personal lines insurance provider.
A dedicated WSU Cougar and student of social media, Brooks also serves as a member of the College of Education advisory board and the WSU Board of Trustees, where he currently serves as scholarship committee chairman for the Washington State University Foundation.
Brooks was recently named marketing legend of the year for 2014 by the Puget Sound American Marketing Association.
