The Murrow College is home of Northwest Public Radio and Television. They make a difference in peoples’ lives by informing, educating, and inspiring communities across the region. Northwest Public Radio is a community service of The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University.

Northwest Public Radio is a multi-station network serving Washington and portions of Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia.  Our 19 transmitters and 13 translators can be heard by more than 3.6 million residents in the region.

The NPR and Classical Music service offers a mix of NPR’s award-winning news shows and classical music with Steve Reeder, Gigi Yellen, Anjuli Dodhia, Jessie Jacobs and others. The schedule also includes Inland Folk with Dan Maher and  national programs such as From The Top, The Retro Cocktail Hour and The Best of Car Talk.

The NPR News service offers a broad range of award-winning national, international and regional news from NPR, the BBC, Public Radio International, American Public Media and the Northwest News Network. The schedule includes weekend entertainment programs such as NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, Fresh Air and the TED Radio Hour.
