Pullman Public Schools Superintendent Bob Maxwell and Director of Communication Shannon Focht have been working with WSU strategic communication students to create informational materials about the Pullman Promise strategic plan, upcoming bonds and levies on the ballot.
Ben Pingel, clinical assistant professor, said the hope is that the students will create materials that help share the key messages about the bonds and levies. They expect to complete the project by the end of the semester.
One of Ben’s classes is working on getting out key messaging about the strategic plan, and the other class is working on messaging for the bond/levy initiative. So far they have created things like social media plans, vision statements, flyers, posters, radio spots, videos, brochures, and signage.
