Lori Maricle, APR, serves as the marketing and communications project manager for the Association of Washington Business (AWB). AWB serves as both the state’s chamber of commerce and the manufacturing and technology association. It is Washington’s oldest and largest statewide business association. In her role, Lori writes and manages strategic communication campaigns that promote AWB’s role as a catalytic leader and unifying voice for economic prosperity throughout Washington state. She was previously the communications director for the WSU College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Spokane, and prior to that worked in administration and human resources at WSU in Pullman. She has a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from the WSU Edward R. Murrow College of Communication, and a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the WSU Carson College. A PRSA member since 2013, She received her APR accreditation in 2017. She served on the PRSA Greater Spokane Chapter board of directors for four years, serving as secretary, president, past-president, and treasurer. Her main professional interests include competitive strategy, market research and video production.
