Criteria: Recipients of the Harold Rock Memorial Scholarship shall meet the following basic requirements:
- They shall be deemed outstanding debaters at Washington State University.
- They shall have demonstrated a reasonable level of academic competence.
- They shall show the potential for growth and development both as a scholar and a debater.
- They shall be returning undergraduates.
History: This fund was established through a bequest from Ralph William Rock in memory of Harold Rock. Harold was a member of the graduating class of 1941 and an outstanding varsity debater at WSU.
