Courtney Larson is a December 2017 graduate of the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication. She has two years of news production experience. Right after graduation, she packed up her bags and moved to Billings, Montana for her first newscast directing job. Within a few months, she was promoted to lead newscast director and found herself in charge of the KULR-8 production department. Around September of 2018, KREM 2 News of Spokane, Washington contacted her about a newscast directing job. Courtney wanted to move closer to home and decided that this would be a great career move. Since working for KREM 2 News, Courtney has helped train her weekend crew to be able to move on to higher roles during the week days. She also has experience creating “sizzle” reels, directing reels, resumes and cover letters.
