Background:
The Avery Quinn Plaster Memorial Scholarship honors the infant daughter of Mike and Heidi Plaster, both of whom are 1996 WSU graduates. The knowledge and skills Mike and Heidi acquired in the Murrow College have played a vital role in both their personal and professional lives, and they feel strongly about supporting those students dedicated to becoming professional communicators.
Avery Quinn Plaster died just a few hours after her birth on Sept. 17, 2010. Her impact on Mike and Heidi has been immeasurable, and they are pleased that the scholarship in her memory will have a lasting impact as well.
