Uses and Purposes:
Given Richard’s career behind the scenes in broadcast and media production, the distributions from this fund shall be used to enhance the margin of excellence in media production in The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at the discretion of the dean of the Murrow College.
Distributions from this fund shall be administered by the dean of The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication or his/her designee(s).
History:
The McDonalds – married for nearly fifty years – made the mutual decision to support Washington State University through their estate plans. The McDonalds’ generous bequest to WSU will support English, Music, and Communications, specifically broadcast/media production.
