Andrew holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Idaho where he also served as Director at the UI Sustainability Center. He is the founding principal of Bisonhead Design + Build and has an extensive and diverse background in the building industry including architectural design, skilled trades, general contracting, building performance consulting, and sustainability consulting. His professional and academic expertise is in sustainable building, sustainable development, and civic elements of the built environment such as informal urban development and socioeconomic issues in urbanism. Andrew is passionate about engaging students in the interconnectedness of design and building, focusing on the relationships between ecology, urbanism, socio-economic issues, and civic life.
