AT WORK:

Michelle Kister is a Murrow Center Project Specialist and Washington State University alumna. After graduation, Kistler returned to Pullman to become the Assistant Women’s Rowing Coach and Recruiter. She also worked as the Head Coach of the WSU Men’s Rowing Team but left the position to pursue a doctorate and work as a Research Assistant.  Kistler assists and advises project directors. She is responsible for communicating with project members, solving problems, monitoring budgets, creating annual reports, and submitting project applications and amendments.

AFTER HOURS:

Kistler describes herself as a “Jack of All Trades,” balancing work and parenting. Her time outside of work revolves around raising her three children as a single mother, supporting them in their activities, and maintaining her household.
