Biography

Elizabeth Candello, Ph.D., Arizona State University, is a scholarly assistant professor at The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication in Vancouver, WA. She has a decade of experience in the communication and technology industries in the Seattle, Austin and Phoenix media markets, working with various clients, including Microsoft, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Washington Dairy Initiative and the Western Climate Initiative. Her research explores how organizations build relationships to increase health literary among populations and examines how knowledge is produced and co-created. Her work includes the examination of social support and collaboration within organizations; cultural identification and minority representations; and service use among those who live below the federal poverty level. She is affiliated with the Murrow Center for Media and Health Promotion Research. And she is the founder of Aisle10.org, a monthly-subscription service that provides self-care products to those eligible for SNAP. She is the PRSSA advisor for the Vancouver campus and has served on the board of directors of the PRSA Oregon/SW Washington chapter in 2020.
