Courtney Larson Smith is a December 2017 graduate of the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication. She has two and a half years of news production experience. Courtney has worked in Billings, MT (KULR8 News) and Spokane, WA (KREM2 News) as a newscast director. Her favorite part of working in the news industry was getting to meet all different kinds of people and being able to use her creativity for different shots and sets. When the pandemic hit, Courtney moved to Tri-Cities, WA to be closer to her husband (at the time fiancé!). She found an opportunity through real estate to work on marketing and communications, behind the scenes, for a couple of local companies, one of those being Windermere Real Estate. Courtney has recently transitioned into the wine industry, working as a marketing and events coordinator for Tagaris Winery. In her free time, she enjoys hanging with her two dogs, Bear and Moose, while fixing up the “fixer-upper” her and her husband bought in 2020.
