Biography

As a career advisor, I assist students with navigating the steps on their professional development path. Through individual and group sessions, I provide students with relevant career preparation information –  I help them identify their career goals, assess competencies and provide guidance as they craft and refine their personal marketing tools.  Empowering students to identify, showcase their talents and highlight their accomplishments is my focus!

I also coordinate the internship for credit process and partner with employers to provide internship opportunities for students.   I am the instructor for the professional internship course.  I have been with the Murrow College since 2018.

Prior to WSU, I worked for 14 years as a counselor with the TRIO Student Support Services Program and as a Learning Disability Specialist with Disability Services at the University of Idaho.  My other experience includes working as a school counselor focused on career education and a mental health and vocational rehabilitation counselor.
