Brenna Kelly graduated from The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication in 2015, with both broadcast production and broadcast news experience. She’s from San Diego, but was drawn to the beautiful landscape of WSU, the strong journalism program, and the passion she saw in all Cougs. She decided to move to Pullman, WA, away from all of her family, to find a new family at Washington State.

Brenna worked behind and in front of the camera in shows for Cable 8 Productions, traveled to Cuba for the backpack journalism program, and interned for various TV stations including Northwest Public Television on campus. Brenna started her career two weeks after graduation as a multimedia journalist in Bangor, Maine at CBS affiliate WABI. Two years later, she jumped 100+ TV markets to Portland, Oregon to work for KPTV FOX 12 Oregon as a multimedia journalist. She credits her success to the behind-the-camera skills she learned while at WSU, and the many opportunities the Murrow College offered to help her grow.
