Curtis Calhoun is a Sports Anchor and Reporter for Seattle’s Sports Radio 950 KJR and a Traffic Reporter and Producer for iHeartMedia. After graduating from Washington State University in May 2016, he was immediately hired as a Weekend Sports Anchor for KOMO NewsRadio in Seattle, where he spent most of his time focusing on Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners Gameday coverage. Calhoun was added to Sports Radio 950 KJR’s team in August 2017 and has interviewed Seattle sports figures such as former Seahawks head coach Mike Holmgren, Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin, Mariners general manager Jerry Dipoto, and many more. He also works as a fill-in Traffic Reporter and Producer for Seattle’s iHeartMedia division, and is best known for his breaking coverage of the DuPont Amtrak Train Derailment on December 18, 2017.
